WHEATSHEAF was born in the foothills of Mount Conobolas at Panuara, near Orange in Central Western New South Wales. This is horse country, where we spend our downtime playing polo in the paddocks, with the smell of the grass in our noses, the thrill of the ride in our hearts, the sun beating down overhead.

There, one beautiful day, an idea bloomed: WHEATSHEAF leather – built by craftsman with a respect for earth and craft and life on the land.

We were inspired by the family crest: the heritage of our youngest son, Anstruther, and his Scottish ancestors. And by the golden fields of the Australian bush, and the rugged strength of country life. The result? A unique range of finely crafted polo belts, needlepoint belts, dog collars and leads, along with some very smart polo T-shirts and classic polo shirts and new cashmere collection.

Our belts are handmade from the finest Italian leather in thick 5mm straps with a kaleidoscope of colourful cotton designs, in Argentine Gaucho style. Our diagoinal striped needlepoint belts are handstitched, hand made in the finest PIMA cotton with solid brass buckle. We were ispired be collegiate colours to be worn supporting your school or favourite teams, or a great gift as a memento for school leavers.

The belts are named after dear friends who have inspired, supported and loved me and my boys along the way. I am truly blessed.
